Why Walking in Kent is Perfect for Women Looking To Find Their Tribe
Estimated reading time 2 minutes
In Kent, the hills, woodland paths, and coastal routes are the best place for women to connect, unwind, and build lasting friendships. Our women’s walking group in Kent is growing fast, and it’s easy to see why.

Many of our walks are centred around connection. Whether it's a circular route in Perry Wood, a mindful walk through Kings Wood, or a coast path hike near Herne Bay, these gatherings are less about the miles and more about the moments. For women juggling busy lives, walking provides rare time to just be—with nature, with others, or with your own thoughts. Most women carry a huge mental load and being outside in nature allows a moment away from daily life.
Our women’s hiking group welcomes all ages and backgrounds. Whether you’re in menopause, postpartum, retired, or somewhere in between, there’s community in walking together. We chat about life, share tips, and sometimes just enjoy the quiet. We laugh, cry, make plans outside the group, go on holidays, conquer mountains, spend time with each other and most importantly we listen.
Kent’s landscape offers the perfect setting. Walk the trails in Blean Woods or along the Stour Valley, and you’ll find space to breathe. Plus, there’s a safety in numbers and a freedom in not having to walk alone or figure out a route. We’ve seen friendships blossom on these paths—some of our members shared Christmas day together.
If you’re a woman looking to walk, talk, and feel good in your body again, joining our women's wellness walking group in Kent might be just what you need.
